After a somewhat short nights sleep we headed out toward Alianza Church for breakfast. We arrived before 7 and the parking guys and the staff were already there getting ready for our arrival. They had a great breakfast spread waiting for us. We then went to a chapel on campus for our worship and devotions. Pat asked the question, “Do we really believe that the gospel IS the power of God that brings salvation”. He also talked about the fact that sin is the ISSUE and the cross is the heart of the gospel. Good message to start our day and everyday. We attended and were part of the church service. We greeted people and worshiped with them and even went up front as a group to sing with them and receive a gift they had prepared for us. What a blessing! Our own Pat gave the message for the church at the service we attended. We mingled for a bit and congregation after the service and went back to Valley Baptist for a pizza lunch before we headed out on our long journey to Luby’s for dinner in Laredo. After dinner it was off to Faith Mission in Del Rio. We arrived safely at 10 pm. Praise God! We found our bunks, van crew went to work, and late night prayer was offered up to our Father.
A big day comes to a close.
