Festival, festival, festival!!

Day three started off chilly – in the 30s, which is COLD for southern Texas! But that’s OK, the power men easily persevered through by the grace of God. Our devotion was given again by Tim James who is getting better as the week goes on… he spoke about when we compartmentalize any part of our lives away from God; we are in fact partially denying access for our Lord to use us as he desires. Instead, we should give everything we have to him. Because through our Lord all things are possible but we must be ALL IN.

A small group went to prison ministry and our very Nathan gave a short sermon and performed healing works on a disabled man with a bad knee and another woman with kidney pain. For those who attended, it was truly an incredible to see the Holy Spirit work through Nathan. It was nothing short of two small miracles. Nathan was very good and God was even greater today.

The day ended with the most rewarding part of the trip for me so far. The festival at Refugio orphanage, although colder than in years past it went off without a hitch. Food, games and carnival rides were provided for children, families, and about 1,400 of the local community. I think we collectively gave out about five truckloads of stuffed animals and made so many children happy. Everybody I spoke to loved the festival and can’t wait to do it again next year!
