WORSHIP/MESSAGE

Cody Gibbs and the worship team were inspiring today. Every day is good, but I had to record the sound of 50 men singing to the Lord in unison. What an experience.

Once again, Pat Schmeling was spot on with his admonition from the Lord for us to act out in faith, to take that first step.

ACUNA:

Today was a day for building, building and more building…a joy tour and Christian track assembly. I was on the joy tour and food crew so I will quickly mention that Cody Gibbs and others reported that all of their building projects are going great, ahead of schedule. I also heard that we made good progress on track assembly. Those tracks go far and wide to places Power does not, reaching men, women and children for Christ.

JOY TOUR – ACUNA

Once again Pat Schmeling lead the joy tour. He lead the first one I participated in many years back, and it was my highlight of that first Power trip. I was very glad that he returned because God has given him a powerful anointing to the Mexican people. As we walked the neighborhood, very few people came out at first, but I swear that I went to the van to get some blankets prepped, we had 60-80 people standing around us. We sang a worship song, heard testimonies and got the call to Christ which was lead by Pat and Nathan Kaufman. A number of people came forward. One woman began convulsing, clearly possessed by a demon. With prayers from Nathan and women from the local Acuna church, they cast it out. God did a work. Quite a few accepted Christ, and the Power guys had the opportunity to lay hands on the people from the Acuna neighborhood taking that faith step Pat mentioned in the morning. After this, we blessed the community not only with God’s word, but many blankets, clothes, bibles and other gifts.

DINNER:

We had burgers, salad and ‘Cho chili,’ courtesy of Chris Cho. Afterwards, all were treated to Blue Bell ice cream. As we speak, fellowship is continuing throughout our meeting room and it is loud and lively tonight! Again, God is good.
