Today seemed like a bit of a scramble at first, but Thank God we are all present and ready to serve and see what God has in store this week. Power Ministries leadership has been busy today trying to work out alternate plans for the upcoming work days in the face of potential cooler rainy weather. It’s all in the Lord’s hands and we are confident He has a perfect plan for this week.
We are doing a reverse order trip this week starting in McAllen/Reynosa, and working our way Northwest to finish up in Acuna/Del Rio. From my discussions so far with other guys, a theme seems to be developing. There is an expectation of hearing from God and seeing him move in our lives and those we minister to.
The van ride from San Antonio to McAllen was broken by what seemed like a 5 minute dinner break at Jaliscos in George West, TX. We were herded in, seated down and after about 5 bites it was time to go. Well, it may have been 25 minutes but it felt like 5 to me. Having a great time catching up with old friends and making new ones. The great thing to remember with these friendships we are making as brothers in Christ will last for all eternity.
We are storing up treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust destroys and thieves don’t break in and steal. Matt 6:20
